    old megadrive roms has metadata info from copiers and use mostly *.smd extension , usually *.md and *.bin are pretty clean roms, but to make sure you used the proper ones try verify them with no-intro http://datomatic.no-intro.org/?page=download

    Well, I've actually tried selling it to no avail.

    To top it off, getting another arcade-like controller is financially impossible for me rite now. :(

    Is there no other option to make this work? Maybe a mod? Maybe gutting a regular USB controller?

    @herb_fargus Sorry Herb, I'll delete this (assuming I can). For the record, I know you're one of the developers. Great stuff. I figured my issue out. Take care!

    If there is accelerated X, you can try the generic x11 target

    sudo __platform=generic-x11 ./retropie_setup.sh

    but I cannot offer any help on this really.

    not sure if this is what @ShootHere was getting at, but I have games that won't scrape even though they're in the DB, it'd be nice if I could just input the game ID from the URL to point the scraper at the intended data.

    The same issue with GBA...

    The scraper is simply a database someone built so if they didn't put in any of the games, then it won't catch it.

    Would be nice to get a group of people together to build a Retropie scraper...

    @a7mag3ddon RetroPie is more than just one program and is always in a state of active development. The closest you'll get is checking the version of the script listed on the setup script. But that only specifies the latest version of the script you've updated to rather than what you have installed.

    @g0nz0uk

    Hi I also use UAE4ARM. WinUAE is great on windows, but UAE4ARM seems to have better results on RetroPie.

    I believe the controls are hardset which means although there is a custom settting, it will not work with RetroPie. But it will work when you do it in Windows etc.

    Thanks
