@mitu alright so after updating everything from source and powering down and coming back I got the it to pair with my switch pro controller which seems to work fine now. I also turned off Bluetooth on all my other devices in the house phone smartwatch etc maybe that helped

Still having issues with the SteelSeries. Able to configure and regsiter all the buttons in device setup. In emulation station all the buttons seem to work as programmed but once a rom is launched the center buttons the ones I have programed to start and select don't register. Looking through the forums it seems will have to jump through a lot of hoops to get the device to play nice with the SteelSeries XL.

Any suggestions?

@holto yeah I figured it out 2 years ago. I even play with real discs too.

problem solved, my dolphin bar is broken, only one side is lit.

That guide has two parts, automatic is great when it works, but it doesnt include an fstab setup. If for other reasons you need to mount that drive later in fstab, doing so does break retropie because you cant use /mnt/usb.

i don't see why it would break retropie. one of the manual steps is to disable the usb daemon, so automatic method is disabled. the manual guide doesn't tell you to mount on /mnt/usb.

some systems can handle subfolders apparently, but for mame and (evidently) psx, try:

@drago-supremo The default settings - of the RetroArch included in RetroPie - is to use and preserve the apect ratio of the emulator used, scaled to the resolution of the your output.
If you still want to change it, you can use the Runcommand launch menu (https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Runcommand/#runcommand-launch-menu) to set the resolution per core (emulator) or game.

@collcroc123 the systems don't appear in emulation station until you put ROMs the their folders

Ok thanks on my Logitech f310 they work automatically in mame but the rock candy don't work in mame

To me Pole Position I and II both work fine with lr-mame2003.
