@mohrad I think you 'll need to do it cause the vanilla driver is wrongly recognizing any touches in the first place. Also the install does not work for me, maybe because i created the steambuild folder in the wrong directory

Run the speaker system for the cabinet to the audio jack.

That's the best way, and it's pure sound from the card.

HDMI sound is good, but really for a console style setup.

I have 3 MAME and 2 dedicated Arcade cabinets. All but one is set up this way. The one cabinet is all original, so I didn't mess with the set up. The rest all use 2.1 sound systems plugged into the audio jack of whatever I have running the cabinet.

Post the Kodi log file from $HOME/.kodi/temp/kodi.log to pastebin.com, maybe we can spot the error.

I was not able to figure this out. For my purposes, I wanted to restrict access to the other lists anyway as this machine is for a workplace arcade setup so I wanted a very straightforward setup, so I updated the ES config to not allow the B button to work. It loads All Games by default, and I turned off the ability to go from system to system, so for now it's working for me. Thanks for the input that was received.

I encountered an issue when using the command make. So when I try to use the commands
make -C /lib/modules/uname -r/build/ M=$(pwd)
$ sudo make -C /lib/modules/uname -r/build/ M=$(pwd) modules_install
its something like :
make : Entering directory ........
make : *** No rule to make target ´ /build/´ . Stop
make : Leaving directory ´ /lib/modules .......

I am quite new to linux on that level so I dont know what to do. Has somebody an idea.

Which emulator are you using ?

The main folders you want to back up are:

/home/pi/RetroPie (ROMs, BIOS files, splash screens) /opt/retropie/configs (configs for RetroArch, EmulationStation, also your scraped game library) /etc/emulationstation(custom themes as well as the systems ES has access to)

The RetroPie documentation has info on how to copy files. WinSCP or Filezilla are probably the easiest programs to use.

Copy those over from the 3B to the 4, and you should be fine. Note: after you flash the image onto your RPi4, you'll need to boot up with it for RetroPie to finish installing, then you can turn it off and start copying.

@Gobon-Shiteinga It's a Windows only game, so I'd say no - RetroPie doesn't have an included emulator for it. If you're using RetroPie on a PC, then you can use Wine to run Windows games.

When I did a BezelProject install, I got a different set... I think I'm good now but can someone make a quick comment on the 2x sets that BezelProject offers. How did I unintentionally grab one set versus the other?

I obviously managed to select the other set on my previous attempt! :)

Thanks, that seems to get rid of that console error. Now the games just hang, will do some more troubleshooting :D
