I solved this with the following steps

Run Command Editor.

Launch Menu > Disabled
Launch Menu Art > Disabled
launch Menu Joystick Control > Enabled

In the end the e35 wasn't powerful enough and required legacy AMD drivers. I ended up with an ASRock AIO board rocking an Intel J3160 and it is flying.

After a huge amount of experimentation Linux Mint XCFE was my final distro. Light enough to keep performance high and startup times low but feature-full enough that I can back out of ES and use it for other things should the mood take me.

My RPi3 kinda got abandoned in the end due to hitting SD card limits or poor performance in PSX and 64 games so with this x86 install giving me that extra oomph, I'm fully invested again!

Same problem for me also. I used to run RetroPie 4.3 on Jessie and had no probems with the PS3 controller or N64 Emulation. I just did a fresh install of RetroPie 4.4 on Stretch fully updated and dist-upgraded. N64Glide emulation doesnt work along with weird bluetooth behavior on PS3. What bluetooth dongle would I need to get to fix the problem? Odd because this problem didn't happen on previous versions on the exact same board.

I'd say your card or filesystem on the card is corrupted. If flashing the RetroPie image on the card doesn't solve this problems, you should get another card.

@mitu thankyou it showed up now.

Scraper ran buy nothing seemed to change from the built-in scraper. I have turned on video snaps and es was off before running.

I have a backup image prior to any games going on running the built-in scraper so I might revert back to that and see how it goes.

I broke the scraper so it was hidden. Update RetroPie-Setup and it should back again. Thanks @mitu for the heads up.

For the OP I'd definitely look at the TV settings before tinkering with Retropie. Any kind of game settings on the telly you've enabled? I usually switch off anything that sets itself to "auto" in my TV settings too. Loads of different hidden settings can cause lag.

Thanks but it's outputting to a small 8in screen that comes with the kit.
(other emulators have no sound delay, only mameforall)

Just found it before posting something very similar!

In my opinion, It would be great an option to delete both rom and entry. Because I have ckecked "parse game list only", and this, not only hide roms that are not scrapped, but also show roms that doesn't really exist, but still have an entry in gamelist file.

hi all is this issue resolved as ive got the same problem with emulationstation windows the custom collections are not there when i shut down and reload

i have to go to setting and add them everytime

@mitu Thanks . I tried to use space to mark the selection i made but that is not the problem. All other selections are working that way I do.

mark I will look into adding mapping analog controls into mame2003-plus properly when I get the time. It doesn't look that bad to do its just setup a little differently from normal buttons nothing major though

I try change acodec to aac, it will not crash but very laggy
