May I humbly suggest adding Synack's guide to adding custom menu music in ES. It was surprisingly simple and the results are awesome!

Topic: This is the most competent Philips CD-I emulation I am aware of for Raspberry Pi. Admittedly, this will only be useful for Stretch users, as you need Stretch to compile lr-mess.
