I would like to donate to retropie people for their fantastic work and to my surprise only way to donate is in British pounds. Is there a way you could add a US dollar donation button or does the donation still count if you use an American debit/credit?

@redbatman it will work with us currency. When you choose amount it should also tell you the us currency amount. But you can always pay in any currency. Paypal converts it.

@herb_fargus It's doing well against the Euro too... I wonder what caused people to lose confidence in the British pound? I saw some news stories last week about British holidaymakers complaining how expensive everything in Spain was!

@buzz Great time to visit the UK then, certainly for those from the US or Eurozone. If you don't mind the rain.

Uh well traveling now and days is super expensive I'd say, with gas prices going up and the uncertainty of the global economy things are at an odd state. I do wonder if the EU will last in the next couple of years.

@redbatman The EU will last. It will just be very different from the one today. People love having the freedom to travel, work, live and learn in other states within Europe. It's not perfect, it's a huge bloated bureaucracy but I agree with the idea and the ideals at the heart of it. Currency union may not last. Greece, Portugal and Italy as as good as (if not already) bankrupt. Germany can only carry them so far.

This is the wrong place for a remain/brexit argument. Just no.

@buzz remove all the other posts then. There is no debate it's happening. Democracy worked we voted out and we're going out. You mentioned brexit not me

@twd I removed the video. The other posts are not argumentative. I would avoid antagonising me.

I mentioned the currency was affected due to uncertainty only. Markets don't like uncertainty. I made no arguments as to whether it was a good or bad idea.

Either way, as long as we can support the people who do this project with any currency is fine by me.
