@brigane omg omg how the hell did u get trailblazer running i cant get it to run it crash in load... Plz help?
Also whats Ur fps on Valiant? Do vid_showfps true

I'm not quite sure how I show fps in-game. But please fill me in, if you do.This is how I got trailblazer working.
this is my config in /opt/retropie/configs/ports/trailblazer/emulators.cfg
zdoom = "/opt/retropie/ports/zdoom/zdoom +set fullscreen 1 -iwad /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ports/doom/doom2.wad -file /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ports/trailblazer/trailblazer.pk3"` default="zdoom"This is where I placed my wad file /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ports/trailblazer/trailblazer.pk3
My trailblazer.sh script to launch the game looks like this
#!/bin/bash "/opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh" 0 _PORT_ "trailblazer" "" -
@brigane he has valiant working. He was asking about trailblazer. I havent tried installing it yet so i cant help him there.

@brigane yeah trailblazer i cannot get it to work...
And i heard good things about it..
Also to show fps press the ~ on keyboard to open console and typ vid_showfps true ..
this will then show you the fps top right side of your screen
Oh if vid_showfps true doesnt work try vid_fps true.

I've updated my post above with the correct info regarding trailblazer. About the fps I can tell you that I run around 28-35 fps through the game with less explosive guns like the handgun, shotgun and machine gun.
After picking up the rocket launcher I got some frame drops sadly. Overall I still think this is more than playable.
Keep in mind though that I'm running RPi 2 so RPi 3 might run this better. -

Im wondering since u got trailblazer to run do you think you can get Russian Overkill to run as wel?

I'm using default video mode since I'm mostly just testing the iwads at the moment.
Also I got Russian Overkill working, it seems to run flawlessly when playing through the first map. -
@brigane omg really?? How? The same way as blazer? I'm gomtry right now I got some time..
Also where did u download it the one I found says gzdoom dev requires -
I Just tried again with the above steps still crashes apon load :/

Yo ed will you try something for me?
This guy or woman below posted about that he or she got trailblazer and russian overkill mods running..those are the 2 that i cant get to run it also says recommanded for gzdoom but no matter what i do i followed up the steps like 5x it just keeps crashing..
So im wondering if you can get it to work?
Im curious i also want to play these since Its like one of the best mods -

I'm not quite sure where I got the mods from. When was the last time you updated zdoom? That might have something to do with it.
Just keep in mind that this probably won't run very smooth with zdoom. There might be some moments where the graphic seems messed up. That's why gzdoom is recommended.Systems: Raspberry Pi 0/2/3 Model B+

go to the part when you initially reach outside then Just somewhat ahead you will confront these cluster of creatures and a couple extensive ones outside on this upper stage it will slack like there's no tomorrow.??

@retrofreak89 when you are setting up the emulators.cfg make sure you are putting the caps and lowercase correctly in the names, including on the .wad and .pk3 file extensions?

@retrofreak89 trailblazer 1.4b doesnt work. I assume he is using an older version which i cannot find any other downloads anywhere.
