      I think I just hit start and under the main menu options it was in there under maybe the scrape settings?

        @bassman6805 @rbaker @dudleydes

        Thank you everyone for the help on this issue.

        I figured it out. It looks like everything was installed properly, the settings were correct in the start menu, but I did notice that the system wasn't in the /home/pi/.emulationstation/es_systems.cfg

        (for some reason I thought I'd seen it there previously, but it could have been on an older image of retropie i previously used.)

        So I went in, and added the following:

        <system>
        <fullname>ScummVM</fullname>
        <name>scummvm</name>
        <path>~/RetroPie/roms/scummvm</path>
        <extension>.sh .SH</extension>
        <command>%ROM%</command>
        <platform>scummvm</platform>
        <theme>scummvm</theme>
        </system>

        Restarted EmulationStation, and the issue was resolved. Thanks to everyone for your help on this issue.

        I'm pumped to start revisiting the games from my childhood.

            @sms5138 this should be automagically configured when you install scummvm from the setup script. If it wasn't there you either have a custom es_systems.cfg or did something incorrectly

              When I go to file manager, there is an es_systems.cfg file. I don’t know anything about it. What should I do with it?

                Above is a link to a pic of my folder. In the scummvm folder is a folder called Lure. And this is what’s in the Lure folder. What’s wrong with these files? Anything wrong with them?

                      Yes I have said in earlier replies. I have installed it. It took a half hour to do so. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled

                      https://ibb.co/ee6sQb

                      And I’ve rebooted many times. And in file manager I see the folders for the games.

                        @dogeymon but have you launched Scummvm and added games?

                          @rbaker

                          I can’t launch it when it’s not showing up on the main menu. No scummvm icon to launch it is the problem

                          I can launch it from file manager. I have to go inside the scummvm folder and select the .sh file to start scummvm but I don’t want to have to do that.

                          I want a scummvm icon to show up on the main menu

                            @dogeymon I suspect there is something wrong with where the .sh file is. When I installed it, I don't recall it taking half an hour either. I deleted the .sh once and it vanished from Emulationstation for me too. I just reinstalled it and it came back.

                              @rbaker If I'm reading this thread correctly it looks like he has a custom es_systems.cfg file in /home/pi/.emulationstation/. He needs to add the system details or delete the custom file and fall back to the default.

                                What does adding the system details mean? I don’t know what you’re telling me to do nor how to do it.

                                  @dogeymon If you don't know how to edit a text file I'm sorry I don't have time to teach you. Try googling it or searching here. It's been explained many many many times.
                                  I would suggest you delete the es_systems.cfg file in /home/pi/.emulationstation/and just use the default where systems automatically get added.
                                  Someone has created a custom config file, If it wasn't you, who was it?
