MAME ROW Champions - Season 1
-
I love this, brilliant work!
-
This is really excellent. Thank you to @meleu for undertaking this enormous task of maintaining the list. (I think the real reason he wanted to do it is because he is the Cheevo Chieftain.)

Meleu: Cheevo Chieftain Extraordinaire! -
OK, this thread can be kinda useless, but but maybe fighting for putting a name in the champions list can make people eager to participate. :)
Finished the MAME ROW 1st year list of Champions. I'll start another topic for the year #2 when we start having champions. :D
-
I personally think we should revise the list of available games, maybe add some non arcade games like Tetris or Puyo Puyo. Kind of getting tired of seeing nothing but shmups
-
@lilbud blame it on random.org (or maybe on the number of shmups created in the 80s and 90s). :-)
We can discuss this on the "How can we make MAME ROW better" topic. I think
that the current method (random numbers from random.org) is fair, though I'm also kinda tired of shmups. If you have some idea for a new method, please share with us on that topic. I'm out of ideas currently. -
Surfing the web I stumbled upon a website where we can create graphs and charts online: https://www.chartgo.com/index.jsp
Just to test I create this one with the MAME ROW winners:
My interpretation of this graph is: @meleu, @obsidianspider and @GtBFilms are not necessarily the best players, but actually the top score posters. :-)
-
@meleu my lack of score posts boil down to two things: Too busy with other things, (School/Bowling and renovation.) Or no interest in that week's game.
I'll post a plan for MAME ROW on that other thread when I get back to my computer. (Currently busy with reason #2 why I can't participate.)
-
" @meleu, @obsidianspider and @GtBFilms are not necessarily the best players...."
No no, I'll stop you there, no further interpretation required, let the graph speak for itself!
:-)
-
Hey, I am tied for 4th place!

Started another thread for the MAME ROW Season 2: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/post/110568
