Other aspect ratios are not supported!
Over time, I implement support for different aspect ratios.
For those who for the first time in this thread - initially it was just a modification of the nes mini theme. I just made it for myself, and at some point decided that she might like other people who have raspberry pi in the playstation 1 case.
But the nes mini theme was protected by a license, so I had to rework everything from the beginning.
Сhanged the scale of the grid, the general style and icons of the systems.
Now it looks as if the guys from SONY also decided to release a portable version of their console with built-in games. Anyway, I hope that it looks dignified.
If so, my idea was a success.Looks quite good man. I hope you and @ruckage are cool now. He helped me with another thing, and I'd hate to see a feud break out between the two of you.
I have nothing against this comrade. at some point there was a misunderstanding, but in the end I asked for forgiveness. that he did not think at my expense - this is his right.

Very nice, I am already to try it out. Now it would be nice if the Scummvm, NES-Mini and SNES-Mini Systems would come :-) Thank you for the work, i made you a small donation.
Many thanks!
In fact, skummmm is already ready, but I doubted whether it's worth adding it to the list. In the update I will add this icons. But of course it is worth it ;-) Is there perhaps also an NES mini and SNES mini system?
-
@frgn So I installed this theme and video snaps don't work is that meant to be? also no support for default or custom collections? ie All Games, Last Played, and Favorites, also a custom collections option.
Wondering if those are in the works or if upload has an issue or is it my setup?
-
@frgn said in [RELEASE] PSX-MINI Theme:
For this, most likely, I need to download the source of the theme to the github. I've never dealt with this before, so I could not add it to my repository.
Hey, do you want me to give you some help? Nice work on the theme, by the way. ☺
-
@cybermen
in the near future I will add them. It's not a problem.@greekmanx
There is currently no support for the video, but I will try to do this for the next update.
everything else - collections, lastplayed and others are written in my to do list.@PokeEngineer
I would be glad to accept support. all I did not try to do with it was wrong. I installed on my PC (windows) github desktop and git bash.
I tried to follow different instructions - but there are a lot of them. In any video I did not find a simple explanation how to upload your project. Also, everything is complicated by poor knowledge of English and terminology. -
Now I have a question for everyone who has already tried the theme.
Is this block displayed correctly?
As you can see, in my case it is slightly shifted.
I noticed a very strange bug (or feature?). For these two elements (players, players_label), I use an identical vertical positioning.
(Sorry, I still did not understand how to insert the code.)It is logical that with this setting, they should be located on the same horizontal line.
In the ES on a computer this works correctly, but here on a raspberry pi it looks different.
On two different TV it looks differently. Both TVs have the same resolution (1920x1080), but different diagonal and production date. Does anyone have any idea why this happens?
I also noticed that the <origin> for the <text> works fine on the PC. But this function is not recognized on RPi.
Or can such a problem only on my RPi?
Oh lol, I'm idiot!
It cost me to lay out the code, as I immediately noticed there were a few unnecessary properties.
I delete all unnecessary, checked - now everything is displayed correctly.
Link updated. Please check. -
I have tested the theme tonight and find it very well succeeded. I had already mentioned the topic already times, perhaps one could make the game cover a bit bigger by covering more squats? and the system logo is exchanged by the systemlogo? I find it somewhat unimpressive on which system one is currently. As similar to the nes-mini theme?

what do you mean? I do not speak English, and I read messages through google translator. so after the translation of this message, I did not understand anything at all. please try to reformulate the question. :)
-
long thought about how these icons should look. in the end, that's what happened. Is it worth to include them in the theme?
yes, on the third icon you can see the flux capacitor from "back to the future"
as well as I drew some new icons:

okay :-) I said that one up in the middle perhaps the system covers instead of the writing pure? and the gamecovers are enlarged, they are quite small?
-
The new icons look great. Missing only scummvm :-). When does an update come with the new icons?
-
@cybermen
I forgot again about this icon
Of course, he had long been ready
I've never played it, so I used what's displayed in Google when I search for a ScummVM icon.

I'm sorry, but it seems today the translator has gone mad.
I did not understand anything at all. :(
I'll try to guess - in this theme the small size of the cover (boxart)? -
Perfect the scummvm :-)
So I mean it:

@cybermen
Maybe, then you will offer me some picture best suited to this system? And I will redraw it into a pixel art.
Now I understand you. So it looks and the truth is better. I will do it. -
Theme updated to version 1.1
In this update, minor bugs in the code were fixed (I hope I did not break anything there).
The screen with a choice of games has been changed. Now the space under the cover of the game and the description is more. Executed at the request of the @Cybermen .
Instead of the text indexes of the system name, logos are now displayed.
Added video support.
Added several new systems.
At the moment, it supports several screen resolutions in a 16: 9 aspect ratio.
Other aspect ratios are not supported!
