New Comic Book Theme!

@tmntturtlguy
You've done more than enough and deserve a break. I think there has to come a point when you say enough is enough. Thanks for all your hard work on this. -

@tmntturtlguy I realized you provided the necessary tools in the art folder,I made my own for wrestling,and puzzle but I can't match your font style for the system name,although graffiti fonts come pretty close
-
@kdretro looks great! If you look a few posts up, the response to @hansolo77 right above your first post there is a link to the post where I give instructions on how to create the font.

What a great Job on all of this it looks amazing. I have it already setup and am loving it. I just have one question if somebody could help me out. If I setup a collection(e.g. BATMAN) is there a way, that once I put a game into the collection it does not show up in its main folder(e.g. Nintendo folder).
-
@ajdshnps there isn't. What you're looking for is probably closer to actually just moving the ROM to a Batman folder, though, and following some of the scripts that @TMNTturtlguy @meleu and @cyperghost where working on at the time.

Thanks @pjft phi figured that I was just curious.

I would love that info when you get a moment no rush. Great work by the way. I'm running it on my pi1 it works great. The only thing I don't do is run video snaps on my game selection screens there is too much of a lag. Any chances of making bezels for your theme. @TMNTturtlguy Thanks again

@TMNTturtlguy I'm fairly sure I read that you aren't making any more updates to the ComicBook theme (at least based on requests), but I'm hoping I might make a small request.
Any chance of making system logos for Atari 2600 Hacks and Atari 7800 Hacks (or simply Atari Hacks, if easier)? I would presume this is a relatively simple request, as it should just require adding the Hacks graphic on top of the Atari 2600 and Atari 7800 images, but I fully acknowledge that its only simple if one has graphical skills and abilities... and I have neither!
I think I can otherwise create the collections based on the existing Atari theme templates, but I'm at a loss for getting Atari Hacks to show up correctly.
Thanks in advance,
Rob -
@periodiclogic you are correct, and sorry to dissapoint, but I am no longer creating new logos or content. The new features and collections opportunities in emulation station are endless and I had to draw a line somewhere or I would be creating logos and system backgrounds for everyone. I am glad you enjoy the theme and sorry to dissapoint.

Not enough Comic Sans. :P
Looks really good!

Just askin cause I'm nosy.. :) @TMNTturtlguy do you have plans on releasing a new theme or have you hung up your boxing gloves? This was a massive undertaking and a crowing achievement. I'm blown away by it. Will forever be my theme of choice!

@hansolo77 thanks! I appreciate the kind comments. I have been very busy with work and career advancements as of late and I had to cut back on my all night retropie development. I have a few other theme ideas I have been playing with, but just haven’t had the time. I am still around and checking in on development, but until after the new year I just won’t have time to commit to new ideas and development.
Thanks

@tmntturtlguy glad to hear you're doing well. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with in the future:)

awesome THEME! i love the updates. There are tons of replies and comments on this subject, so I may have missed this, but I changed a couple of things on mine and just thought I'd share them. If anyone wants them, etc.

@anasazi29 nice work! Looks great

Is there any way to add collections for Classic Arcade, Platformer and Run and Gun? I love this Theme. It's the only one I can find with collections for Beat'em Ups, Fighters and Shoot'em Ups.
-
Sorry, i saw above that you no longer are creating collections for this Theme. Totally understandable. It wont let me erase the above post so please ignore :)

@dlesko250 no problem. Glad you enjoy the theme. Sorry for not continuing to create at this time.
