Help with Retropie Install on Linux
-
Hi Guys,
I intend to install Retropie on my linux dual boot and I was wondering is there a way to change the Rom directory to an external hard drive that I have connected to my computer. My linux partition is around 20GB and I have over 55GB of roms that I want to use that are in a folder on the external drive (copied from my retropie sd card from my pi3).
Is there a way to do this?Any help would be appreciated.

@retrocraze Sure, it's possible, either from an USB drive or from a network share - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Running-ROMs-from-a-USB-drive/ or https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Running-ROMs-from-a-Network-Share/

@mitu Does these steps apply when also doing it on my linux retropie build?

@retrocraze The manual method of using USB as ROM source should work.
