Favourites menu gone after update

Hello, after updating from 4.3 to 4.3.7 my Favourites menu is now gone. I checked the UI settings and everything is checked, but only Last Played and All Games show up in the menu. So then I tried to uncheck all of them, backed out of the menu to make the ui register it and after I went back in and checked them again. But like I said, only Last Played and All Games show up in the menu. When trying to add a game to favourites the system freezes. Would be happy if I could get help.

/home/pi/.emulationstation/es_log.txt? Can you try and restart ES after adding a Favorite ? -
@mitu I found out what the problem is. In version 4.3.7 it didn´t show up because I didn´t have any favourites set up yet. As soon as I did that and tried to remove it , it leaves emulationstation; I guess it crashes Emulationstation because there is nothing more in the favourites list. But I don´t remeber it happening with the simple 4.3 version. It even had the Favourites menus show up in the UI without a game in it.
I even tried this with a fresh version of Retropie and updated it to 4.3.7; same thing happens.This really should get fixed, because it messes up the system as soon as you remove the last favourite from the list.

That's a known bug and has been fixed already, just not pushed in the stable branch yet.
From your description though, it was hard to identify that was about this bug, because your problem seemed about not being able to add a new Favorite and there was no mentioning of a crash. -

@mitu The first time I tried to add a and later on remove a game it was on a different image, there it just froze. All warnings and stuff are hidden, so I guess that just made it look like it froze. After doing this with a fresh Retropie image, it completely crashed Emulation Station.
Well, I guess I just have to wait for a stable fix then, huh.
