Trigger Arduino during gameplay?
-
Hey guys, just curious if any of you know of a way I can trigger my Arduino with a simple script to turn on a LED light every time I win a game.
-
The game would need to specifically trigger something to the emulator which could then be interpreted..
There isn't an event generated for "winning"... if you had a specific game in mind then there could potentially be a dirty hack, like listening for a specific sound signature..
I think what you are asking for is a pipe dream :)

There must be some type of marker. Like how does the LEDBlinky software recognize when you're playing certain games to illuminate specific LEDs
-
Might be a way to integrate with retroachievements
-
Have any of you used RGBCommander? It looks promising
-
@herb_fargus Do you know if Retroachievements logs wins in real time? Like as soon as you win a game or get a high score it immediately updates the database?
-
@feutegraf idk I've never used it
-
@feutegraf I think you can get some inspiration on this thread here:

wow, awesome...thanks that points me in the right direction at least
