    Hello, I am making a project, the adafruit super pi boy and have now problems with audio. I am using a pi zero w instead of a normal pi and have therefore no audio jack. I still intend to use the class d audio amp (TPA2016D2).
    I want to connect it directly to the gpio pins.

    Please advice

          @jonnykesh right! But that's the video part!
          @archiver I would advice a I2S amplifier or an exteranl USB sound card. Why? The analog output isn't good - you will have cracks and pops.

          EDIT:
          But @jonnykesh is on the right way. The GPIOs provide analog output!
          Here is how to do! https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=127585

            wouldn't this one work somehow?

                @archiver That's just an amplifier!
                You've to restore the analog signal for this!

                Me and @jonnykesh showed you three ways. Choose one - you are a free man.

                    failed to find mixer elements keeps popping up on terminal...

                    Also, can I use only my amplifier or do I have to copy everything exactly?

                    EDIT: I somehow got the audio to work via gpio, albeit with crackling... now to fix this
