@uncledisgusting It is a torrent for 4.2 but it obviously can be updated once installed/

I am also having the same issues. I have tried older versions, other browsers and I have even tried a different website. Nothing seems to work. In the United States and my provider is Midconntinent Communications

Download worked fine here.. running on Comcast out of Seattle/Tacoma area. MD5 checks out and everything.

Someone else suggested on another thread using wget (if you have access to a *nix machine or a retropie instance already running):

            wget https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/releases/download/4.3/retropie-4.3-rpi2_rpi3.img.gz

            RetroPie v4.1 • RPi3 Model B • 5.1V 2.5A PSU • 32GB Kingston microSD

Try using a download manager that can resume downloads, something like Aria2 (https://aria2.github.io) or uGet (http://ugetdm.com).

Are you supposed to use a download manager to begin with? I just tried downloading thru Firefox

No, but since your internet provider does not provide a stable connection to the download site, you might be able to download the image in multiple download tries.

@mitu Tried that. Showed complete once but can't extract anything. Tried going thru Pirate Bay and that didn't work at all. I think it is something to do with the file itself or the server that it resides on. I also tried older versions with no luck. Using Windows 10. I suppose I could use Hyper-V on my PC and create a VHD using linux but it shouldn't take so much work

@gamergirl2469 There's nothing wrong with the file or the server, it's just your internet provider that's interrupting the connection.

@mitu. If that is the case then is there a work around?

@gamergirl2469 A download manager that is able to resume downloads where it left off would really be the only solution.
Also, if you had a decent / cheap data plan on your phone you could download it using the 3G/4G network and transfer it to your PC once complete.

@jonnykesh I tried the phone and I got the same results. How would the download manager work? The only times I have used ones are when it was required for certain programs

Apart from what @jonnykesh suggested, try downloading from another PC with another ISP ?

@gamergirl2469 Depends on the DL manager... @Mitu made some good suggestions above. Try one or both of those. Once complete verify the MD5 sum of the file before burning it to the SD card.
