So, I'm using the composite video cable instead of HDMI.
But I can't see everything that's on the screen. Do I configure this in config.txt?
      And if so, how?

        cd /boot
        sudo nano config.txt

        Then at the bottom

        # uncomment for composite PAL
        #sdtv_mode-2

        remove the # so

        # uncomment for composite PAL
        sdtv_mode-2

and then "Ctrl X" to exit and save with Y
        then reboot.

I hope this helps or works, finding my way around my self.

          That was actually already uncommented...

            Is "#HDMI_force_hotplug-1" commented?
Also are you trying to run the composite screen with the HDMI still plugged in?

Yes, it's commented. And no, there is not HDMI-cable connected.

@Elgur85 I found this guide, Force Raspberry Pi output to composite video instead of HDMI

                Hope this helps.

Thanks, but the problem is not to get something on the screen. It's to see everything that's supposed to be on the screen. :)

@Elgur85 I wonder if it is a problem between output and screen settings. Like PAL and NTSC

Does the screen cut off from the top, bottom or the sides?

All of the sides. Bottom, top and sides. :)

@Elgur85 have you adjusted the overscan settings in /boot/config.txt ?

it didn't make a difference to the terminal or ES or both ? did you set overscan_scale=1 ?

Please post your config with overscan set. Formatting it as mentioned in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

Please try with disable_overscan=0 (or comment the line out) and enable overscan_scale=1 then adjust the overscan left/right/top/bottom

also note your gpu_mem=320 won't have any effect, as the gpu_mem_256, gpu_mem_512 and gpu_mem_1024 values override it.
