I’ve gone back and forth on a few controllers, but can’t get a setup I’d like. I currently have two PowerA USB PS3 controllers that work fine, but there’s a slight yet noticeable lag on most games. I was able to sync up both of my PS3 controllers via Bluetooth and the performance was good, but I couldn’t get a controller assigned to the second port (both controllers acted as controller one). Curious what other people use and recommend.

@uueezer I currently use a Dualshock 4 for everything. It's a well made controller and there is no noticeable lag when wired.

@lilbud looking to keep it wireless. Do you have your DualShock’s working for multiplayer? If so, what changes did you make after connecting to the system?

Never tried using wireless, mainly cause I have a 10ft cord. But it should work over BT. Not entirely sure on multiple players.

I prefer XBox 360 wireless pads with the PC dongle. 4 players can connect to the dongle at 1 time and it works great.

I am using now the SF30 Pro and i don't really notice any input lag if you are referring to that.
Also connected by bluetooth which i have no problems with.

I use PS3 controllers with no lag and just this past weekend I played on my cousin's box I built for him with no lag. He uses xbox360 controllers with a K-mart quality 3rd party usb wireless adapter. I think a lot of lag has to do with how the controller is made to work with Bluetooth and if there is luck or good support. I've even tried some discontinued 8bitdo Sn30 controllers that work fairly well but I feel like there is noticeable lag with them although it's not enough to alter gameplay once you get past it.
