psp files won't run on psx?

Hello. I have been downloading psx ROMs and changing them to psp pbp files and they have ran great so I have tried to download psp ROMs and they don't run. Any ideas?

That's quite a vague description of the the problem. Since the PS1 emulator clearly can run PSP files - as you said - the problem might be with the PSP ROMs you downloaded.

PSP games won’t run on the ps1 emulator. You need to install lr-ppsspp and that should run psp games

@lostless they run good with the default emulator, you have to and pbp and PBP to the supported file extensions in systems.es, otherwise they wont be recognized.

@sirhenrythe5th he is trying to run psp games onthe psx emulator. He needs to use the psp emulator to play psp games. Only psx eboots work on the psx emulator as the op stated work on the the psx emulator
