[EDIT 2016-05-23]
@meleu said in lr-picodrive isn't achieving:Great news!!
I've installed lr-picodrive from source and now it's working 100% with achievements!!Please Lord @BuZz, update the binaries for us!
A big thank you to @cabrunco for telling me this news!
RetroPie 3.7 (RetroArch 1.3.2; lr-picodrive 1.91)
Raspberry Pi 2I thought the power trio fceumm/picodrive/snes9x was working all OK, but I've realized the picodrive isn't achieving!
picodrive logs in (I can see the game I'm playing on retroachivements.org), it load the achievement list (I can see locked/unlocked achievs on RGUI Quick Menu), but when I do an achievement it doesn't pop out.
Is there someone here experiencing the same problem?
I use RetroArch/picodrive on Android and it works well.
BTW.: to get fceumm working I had to install it from source using retropie_setup.sh (Install Individual Emulators from Binary or Source)

@ dskywalk added Cheevos to Picodrive, maybe we should ask if it's working for him?
-
O,o well it think was pushed one commit that added achievements at 10th march:
https://github.com/libretro/picodrive/commit/c3e69f81d86410bce18d0335d2c879bda71285dbTry update the core from the source and see if fix the problem, yet I am still prefer the GenesisGX in terms of emulation accuracy and bootlegs\hacks support

@Lodan-Zark @robertybob
Are you guys registering your achievements using the picodrive?
As I said, my picodrive logs in (I can see the game I'm playing on retroachievements.org feed), it loads the achievement list (I can see locked/unlocked achievs on RGUI Quick Menu), but when I do an achievement it doesn't pop out. -
@meleu I just tested this and the same thing happen to me.
-
Probably the text is tiny and you can't see it? When I do it, it works just fine but the achievement pop-up text is tiny...

If it happened I would be able to see the unlocked achievements at retroachievements.org

@RetroPieNerd I'm thinking about file permissions... do you know what files are used for cheevos registering?
-
@meleu Pretty sure no files are involved at all and it just directly sends the info to the site.
-
Someone write a bug on the picodrive libretro github about this if it hasn't been done already.

Did you have any progress on this issue?
-
@meleu Sadly no.. I guess we have to wait for a new RetroPie update and cross our fingers :)
-
@Brigane development on lr-picodrive has nothing to do with RetroPie. Best addressed upstream as mentioned above.

As I said before, I use RetroArch 1.3.2/picodrive 1.91 on Android (same versions of RetroPie) and it works well. So I'm not sure if it's an upstream problem.
I'll keep trying to make it work on RetroPie.
Just repeating the problem: my RetroPie's picodrive logs in (I can see the game I'm playing on retroachievements.org feed), it loads the achievement list (I can see locked/unlocked achievs on RGUI Quick Menu), but when I do an achievement it doesn't pop out.

I tested it on windows and android and is working well. Only on Linux does not. Mint on the PC and debian on retropie don't pop achievements.
