MLP pi image on PC?
-
Hello I'm completely new to retrogaming and tried to search this without much luck. There some post I found but was more highlevel for people who had some working knowledge of retropie/es/retroarch, where I don't even know the different between the 3 or what they do.
I have a 256g MLP image. The country I currently am residing in 256g mircosd card cost are astronomical.
I have an 4 yr old laptop I'm mot using.I want to run this 256g pi image on the laptop. Can anyone direct me to a page or link with step by step instructions? Dummy proof preferably.
Thank you

We don't support 3rd party images. Ask the author of the image.

Thank you for the clarifications.
And all the "-"'s for a person completely new to retropie and retro gaming :)

First of all, all pages on this forum without exception have the same header about the necessity of reading the following post, which clearly states about 3rd party images in the 5th point.
Even for newcomers it's not possible to not see it, which mean you deliberately chose to not follow this simple yet critical advice.
Be sure you're not the only one, though, but don't complain for gaining a few downvotes :) -

Thank you. My bad for not reading the rules.

As said by @mitu , what you're asking is not possible the way you want it.
I'll just add that, taking into account what you're saying about your technical knowledge, using your laptop with retropie will be IMHO far more complicated than downloading and using an official retropie image for the raspberry pi.
