No, dont copy any of the files over yet, just install sorr from the method shown in the video and make sure the files/folders are all created first.
You should find this exists when you have sorr installed /opt/retropie/ports/sorr

You can see where the install option for sorr would be in an updated RetroPie script here:

Make sure zerojays script is installed without error first.

Ok mate. Like I said on your YT channel I've done all that as shown in those pics and updated from source and I have the game in ports when I boot emulation station. When I launch the game I just get a black screen with flashing cursor for a few seconds and then it returns to the game list again.

I'm just confused as to how I now copy the files over. I know you mentioned ftp. I have putty on my laptop but I've no idea how to do this process.

Apologies if I'm being a blag. I'm quite technical but I'm obviously having a blonde moment and missing something obvious. I appreciate all the help so far mate.

Any idea if higher resolution and v-sync work now? The one thing keeping me playing SORR on my laptop connected to the tv instead of my Pi.

There are 3 distinct steps here really
            1 - Install zerojays repository
            2 - Install sorr
3 - Copy game files accross

Are you saying #1 and #2 above have completed without issue?
So, you have a folder that has been made here /opt/retropie/ports/sorr

If so, what do you get if you type the following
            ls -lah /opt/retropie/ports/sorr/

If you havent copied your game files over, check the video for the files you need, and follow the instruction to change the permission on that folder, i.e. sudo chmod 777 /opt/retropie/ports/sorr

Then copy the game files across using an FTP client (I use Filezilla)
            https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Transferring-Roms#sftp-needs-an-active-internet-connection

Hi mate I've copied the files over via ftp
              https://flic.kr/p/JYBMQA
but when I run ls -lah I only have bgdi-330 and save game listed

              https://flic.kr/p/JtaDhy

              No sure what's happening lol.

              EDIT: Wrong folder lol sorry.

Oh ffs as I copied them all to configs/sorr instead of ports/sorr I then accidentally moved them all from configs to ports and now it errors on launch saying no config file.

I'll uninstall sor and start again as I don't know what should be in the config folder

Those are two different directories showing (it looks like you have copied your game files to the configs or roms directory).
Make sure the game files get copied to /opt/retropie/ports/sorr/

Yep I've just done a quick reinstall of retropie and installed sorr. I ran the sudo command to give me permissions but when I try and ftp the files across it now says permission denied?

Just had to come away for a while as I'm sorting kids out. I'll check in a bit. Strange how I could initially ftp files across albeit to the wrong place lol and now I can't.

Ok, that looks right - can you FTP files across to it now?

No I log into cyber ducky with pi and raspberry, port 22 and I can browse fine but when I try and upload any of the files/folders I need I get a permission denied error. I've no idea why?

I will have when I dive on in the next half hour. Having a Google and a few other people have had the same issue with cyberducky. I wonder if it's worth trying a different ftp client.

Ok all in. I launch the game and it prompts me to choose a default emulator with 1: sorr being the only option and it's stuck on that screen. Am I missing the emulator.cfg?

Ignore the last one. All my roms are prompting for an emulator now. I need to wipe and reinstall the image. What's the easiest way to do this as Windows currently just sees the boot partition.
