What's the easiest way to delete multiple MAME games?

Pi Model or other hardware: 3B
Power Supply used: 5v AC adapter
RetroPie Version Used: 4.4.2
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
USB Devices connected: keyboard, generic PS3 cobtroller
Controller used: PS4 controller connected via bluetooth
Error messages received: none
Emulator: LR-MAME2003So I have nearly 1500 MAME Games that aren't yet scraped on my retropie and want to delete a lot. What's the easiest way to do this? I've tried matching the game on retropie up with the one when I open file explorer and go to \retropie, but most of those zipped files are different names or abbreviated names to the actual game. I know I can hit select and edit meta data then scroll all the way down to delete, but that will take forever.

cd to the directory from a Raspbian shell, and use the rm command and ? and * wildcards. You might want to read up on exactly how those work to make sure you do what you want to do. The potential for disaster IS there...

Thanks for your reply. I tried doing this, but then I found out I can do it in file manager too and ended up going through all of them that way.

Webtropie is another way to manage your game list and roms. It can delete games from the gamelist.xml and/or their rom files.
