      @dhector No, it’s a bit more complex than that. You need to modify many source files, either to do a PT-only version, or a localizable version.

                          hi! i try to compile on my raspberry 3b+ with retropie to have emulationstation in french but :

                              @Alexbossnice : Install boost from the terminal:

                              sudo apt-get install libboost1.62-*

                              It should compile now.
