Move game collections on retropie, to individual folders? Can it be done??

I have an image with lots of Game collection folders like Namco and irem.
is it possible to move these roms from the retropie arcade folder and into their own folders?

Why move them ? Create Collections from them and you don't have to move them. If you want to move them into individual folders, then you'll have to add the new folders as systems in Emulationstation and then configure the emulators for each folder - see https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Add-a-New-System-in-EmulationStation/ - which is more complicated than creating a custom Collection.

I wanted to separate them as the image is not mine and I wanted to use them in my own image?

Then why not just copy them into the same directories on your image?
