What's that supposed to mean? A proper 32x is already part of the theme.........

Thanks a lot for your theme Ruckage, since I have just purchased the snes case by Retroflag, and I also have 8bitdo snes pad, with your theme I can say I have a fully mini snes style raspberry.

Just one suggestion : I also use the raspberry for viewing videos and torrenting. Have you considered making a kodi/osmc theme with the snes/nes mini style? Since most of the official themes have a modern style, I think people that have Nintendo cases (and, in general, people that prefer retro themes) would appreciate it a lot.

        Thanks again for the theme!

This theme is incredible. I have been using it for almost a year now. Thanks for the hard work @ruckage . I tried changing the colors of a few of the systems ( I owned a blue Nintendo DS, a clear purple Game Boy Color, and a white Game Boy Advance as a kid), but the theme won't update. I changed the images in the icons and icons_usa folders to my desired colors in Paint, but the old colors still appear. Any idea on what else I would have to update to make the color change? I'm not sure what I am missing.

Sorry for the late reply. Glad you like the theme.
Do you mean an actual skin for Kodi itself? It's not something Ive considered as I don't use the pi as a media player myself but I'll maybe look into it to see what's involved.

I'm glad you're enjoying the theme. I'm not sure what the problem could be as if you've replaced the images they should just show up. If you can upload your edited theme somewhere for me to download I'll take a look and see what the problem is. Off the top of my head have you restarted ES after making the changes? Were the new image files saved with exactly the same filename and in the same format?

Regarding TG16/PCengine icons which you mentioned before editing your post I'll make some changes to the theme so that TG16 shows if you set the theme to USA and PC engine will show up otherwise - the same as it currently does for Genesis/Megadrive.

I think you need to re-apply the theme. I added some icons which wouldn't show up, even after rebooting. Re-applied the theme and they were there...

@jandalf81 What do you mean by reapply the theme? I restarted emulation station and that didn't work. I changed the theme to Carbon in the UI settings and then back to this theme and that didn't work either. I also tried deleting the entire theme from the system, restarting the system, and then reloading into the system, but that didn't work either.

@ruckage Thanks for the reply. I figured out the Turbografx-16 thing. For the system colors, the new images are the same filename and same format as the old images. I tried restarting ES, changing to a different theme and then back to this one, and deleting the theme from the system and then reloading into the system. The only change made to the theme is system colors. I thought the images would just change automatically, but I can't get them to no matter what I try.

                        License

This theme is being actively developed, a great deal of work has been put into the theme and art so please do not use the graphics I have created in other projects.

You are free to modify the theme for your personal use only - please do not share modified versions of this theme.

I am flattered you wanted this theme enough that you put the time into porting it but I have said I will port this to recalbox myself. I know it's taking me a long while to get around to it as I have limited time and several projects on the go but I thought my license was pretty clear.

@ruckage Well, all credits still yours. I didn't modified any art or overall look. I just changed inner files to run on Recalbox. You can still use EVERYTHING I made to your work. Doesn't seems fair to me do not share what I did with everyone.

I'm preventing no one from using my theme. Until I port it to recalbox people always have the option of installing retropie and using that.

There is even a topic on the recalbox forum regarding this theme and the users there have all been understanding and patient and have respected my wishes. I'm sure they would like it sooner rather than later but they seem willing to wait for me to do the work.

Because it says, very explicitly, in his license agreement in the Readme. That's why. This is really not a hard rule to follow. Want to port it over personally to use on your home machine? That's fine. He has allowed that. Instead you and many others don't stop there and insist on inserting yourself into a project you have had no hand in creating.

I just said some messages ago that @ruckage can use everything without even give me credit. I'm just sharing what I believe is good for others. If I didn't make myself clear you can use everything without give any credits. I close my case here.

People can use whatever platform they like. I created the theme and one reason I personally want to port it is to make sure it's done correctly.
I don't see why me wanting to handle the porting of this is a bad thing, I've put months of work into the theme and I've always been clear on where I stand regarding modifications.
