Hi there my pc is a laptop lenovo ideapad 320 running linux:
      processor: AMD A10-9620P
      Ram: 8Gb
      video card: AMD Radeon R7
      Hard disk: 1Tb

First of all, when I was using linux Ubuntu the dreamcast emulator was working well. After I unistalled Ubuntu and I installed Kubuntu, now both reicast and lr-reicast emulators doesn't work. I am using a 2tb external Hard disk to load the games and the bios.

@tackskull Did you place the files in /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/ or in /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/dc?

@tackskull A log file (/dev/shm/runcommand.log) would be nice. Get the contents - after the game fails to start - and copy it to pastebin.com so we can take a look.
EDIT: What Kubuntu version are you using ?
