Ideas so...: Mugen ... diablo I ... N64 emulator improve
-
Hi guys, so if this part of the forum is for get ideas, I´ll wanna participate with some:
-
Well, what about MUGEN for rpi?, at first, Mugen was created for linux, and I think that it could be a great idea, or, something similar; I mean, an arcade VS customizable.
-
Annnnd, what about Diablo I? with online mode could be great, I saw people mounting it on Wine (windows emulator) in rpi 3, but the performance its too bad, I´m going to suggest this to "Diablo I Belzebud mod - team"...
-
Finally, I want to add too the N64 emulator, N64 got great games, but the performance of the rpi3/emulator makes the games unplayable (almost without overclock).
Well, see ya and have a nice day ^^.

THe best option is to add IKEMEN instead of MUGEN, a Linux port that is often updated. :)
-
So if it works in linux, it could be compiled I thought, anyway, I found another alternative, but it´s recently born, it´s a program called infinty cat (lastest version v.01 I think) it´s like a "mugen compiler to psp", so you can play your created mugen into a psp.

Wine only emulates the operating system, the PC Diablo binaries are still x86 so will never run on a Pi. If you want to play Diablo, there is a PSX port.
Yes, N64 emulation is crap for many games, the Pi is weak and emulation is not that good anyway. A few games work well such as F-Zero X.
There are apparently some improvements to N64 emulators coming so maybe the situation will get better in the next few months or year.
