Hi and sorry for the late reply!

I will explain it.

In addition to the SuperPi case (or any other snes tyle case) with snes mini classic theme installed, I now have the megaPi case. the megapi should get a similar theme, like the superpi (snes mini classic theme). Actually a modified version of the snes classich theme.

The snes theme has parts of the console art at the top and bottom. That fits perfect to the superpi case, respectively to a snes fan!

The snes classic theme does not fit to the megapi case respectively to a fan of course.

Actually we would only have to exchange this parts (top and bottom) with graphic art from the mega drive. But i was not able to find some pixel style art like the one from the snes mini classic theme thats fit to a mega drive version. Finally we have to adjust the key labels at the top of the theme.

Thats all. A classical clean "original style" mega drive theme.

At least I think so. It would be great if someone (possibly a graphic artist) could do something like that.

Hey. Since I am a fan of 16-bit systems, and especially SEGA, I recently tried to make a theme in pixel style like snes mini, only SEGA.

Since I work a lot and have little free time, the development of a topic takes a lot of time. However, the gui part of the theme is 100% complete. It remains to correct the code so that this topic is displayed correctly on different aspect ratios. As is the case with my previous PSX MINI theme, if you make a donation, then development speeds up. :)

That looks very nice. the best Mega Drive theme i have seen until today!

the only thing i dislike, is that you used the (new?) mega drive system (first and second picture at the bottom and the top from the menu screen).

any chances to change that to the odl classica mega drive one?

but don´t disunderstand me. It is a very good cleanand classic style theme!

I used the design of the MD2 version, since I had such a thing as a child. and indeed, in Russia where I live, the MD2 model was very common. more precisely its Chinese clones.
I think I'll draw a theme from two layouts. megadrive first and second version.

yes, i mean the first (bigger one) mega drive version, like the retroflag megapi.

I hardly have time this year, as I have a lot of work before the holidays. In January of next year I will have a short vacation, during which I will most likely draw an additional layer in the style of the first version of megadrive. I also do not promise to add metadata. The theme will have the same look - list and cover (nothing superfluous). but I do not rule out that metadata will appear later. it depends on demand and free time. be patient. :)

I do not want to do you more work than you already have.

Please do not get this wrong.
I just want to suggest what could be improved.

In one picture we can see the six button controller, wich is lettering 16 Bit.
I have seen this clone controller many times in the wild, could you maybe insert the original six button controller from sega?

Actually you just only have to replace the 16 Bit lettering with the sega logo, and make the start button red.

I have attached a picture of the most common six button controller of the mega drive.

I think he is very busy. Longer than he thought.

But... in late September, the official mega drive mini will be launched.
This will definitely have a very good theme i think.

As similar as the snes mini theme i hope.

At least that's what I think.

That will definitely serve as a template, so anyone will release a clone of that for us! :)

With all the latest screenshots of the megadrive mini, do we think this could be the game select screen on the retail version?

Can anybody on here translate the text in the red and green top blocks?
