I'll cite the original developer:Been working on a very ambitious retro fangame for the past 2 years called Super Clash Bros. It's sort of like Smash but with the characters kept accurate to their original games.
This is not an emulation, it is entirely new programmed. I see it coming attacked by Nintendo, hopefully I am not right. It can be played in browser (gamepad support) or downloaded (even Linux version).

Feels like a clone of super mario war (https://github.com/mmatyas/supermariowar).
Yeah, it will be attacked as soon as they find about it, characters are copyrighted. Too bad the author is not exposing sources on github, it might have a better chance of survival, and it would allow it to run on different platforms. -
@barbudreadmon Are you sure its a clone of Super Mario War? I think Clash Bros is its own thing and completely new programmed. Also on the webpage is no note about Mario War. Or do you mean it got the same gameplay idea?
