WiFi Will not work. Only need internet for scraping games. Bluetooth Xbox Controller help.

I'm running 4.4.1 on a 3 model b. I have multiple things I need help w/ I'm not very new to this I have flashed retropie before but this time I have had multiple issues, first of all, I can't get the internet to work I have changed my keyboard to the US and have tried using a txt file to use it and wifi will not work. Second w/an Xbox one Bluetooth controller I can't get it to connect I have inserted this code as suggested for Xbox controllers and will now work (code)
sudo nano /opt/retropie/configs/all/autostart.sh
sudo bash -c 'echo 1 > /sys/module/bluetooth/parameters/disable_ertm'On my previous retropie, this did work. However, that is not that big of a deal. All I need the Internet for is scraping games so if there is a work-around I'm happy to try it.

Have you set the region for the Wifi? Also there are scrapers that will work without the internet.

I have set the region, and I did not know that can you give me any more info. Thank you for replying I was getting really bored

@jakejm79 The thing I'm worried about is if the scraper has to install, and if so it will probably need wifi

OK, I have been scouring the retropie forums all the time I've been waiting and I have found a solution thank you for trying to help me. I hope I don't have to come here again. Have a good night.

If anybody is wanting the solution you have to update all the installed packages or just do a basic install and that should do the trick.

@Bravenstein Have you updated the firmware on the Xbox One controller ? Does it pair over Bluetooth or it cannot be found by RetroPie ?
