    Whenever I restart my Retropi I find that the GBA images and descriptions are gone, however when I look into the file directory all the images and the gamelist are still there. I'm not sure why it isn't displaying and I've been looking all over with no results.

      Please add more info about your system as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first. What changed before this problem started appearing ? Does your card have enoug free space to save files ?

        @mitu Sorry, I'm using a Raspberry PI 3B+. As for space, I still have 10 GB left on the SD Card. As for changes, I"m not sure. The only changes I've made to my Retropi have been changing the splash screen and turning Overscan off. Save for that, nothing else has been altered

          Is it only the GBA images or other systems, too?

          Are there still <desc> tags with the descriptions, and <image> tags with the correct path and filename of the images in your gamelist.xml?

          Could you show us such an entry from your gamelist.xml in a code block? Like this:

          	<game>
          		<path>./Metroid - Zero Mission (U) [!].zip</path>
          		<name>Metroid - Zero Mission (USA)</name>
          		<desc>She's battled baddies on nearly every Nintendo system, and now, Samus Aran returns to her roots. Metroid: Zero Mission relives the story that started it all--revealing for the first time full details of her meeting with the Metroids. The plotline will be familiar to longtime fans of the Metroid series, but the challenges are new, the power-ups are plentiful, and the graphics and sound are supercharged. Plus, if you thought that the original Metroid had a surprise ending, wait until you get past the Mother Brain in Metroid: Zero Mission. A new twist provides a deeper adventure than ever before.</desc>
          		<image>./images/Metroid - Zero Mission (U) [!]-image.jpg</image>
          		<video>./images/Metroid - Zero Mission (U) [!]-video.mp4</video>
          		<marquee>./images/Metroid - Zero Mission (U) [!]-marquee.png</marquee>
          		<rating>0.9</rating>

          		<publisher>Nintendo</publisher>
          		<genre>Race, Driving</genre>
          		<playcount>4</playcount>
          		<lastplayed>20181007T105642</lastplayed>
          	</game>
