Rom Naming Conventions

Hello:
Is there a file/doc that shows the expected name of each ROME for all of the consoles?
I note that when I use the scrapper I get hits and misses. I would like to be able to just reference a doc to find the correct filename rather than use trial and error.

Lookup the no-intro naming conventions. You might be able to rename your ROMs using a Dat file and a program like CrlMamePro or RomCenter.
However, regardless of you having the 'correct' name of the ROM, it ultimately depends on the scraping source and how the ROM was entered there. That's why some scraping sites (i.e. ScreenScraper.fr) use a checksum on the file to identify the correct ROMs, rather than using the name only for search. -
