Trackball & Spinner Control Panel

Looks great! What spinner is that?
-
@HurricaneFan It's Spintrak, a bit expensive but as precise as actual spinners on original arcade machines (at least how I remember these).
-
Can you tell me what Trackball you used? I am working on a modded Arcade 1up Street Fighter and am looking at Trackballs. Just wanted to know how big is the one you used and if it is good.

@UDb23 just fantastic! Great work.
-
@UDb23 are you able to have both spinner and trackball hooked up and selectable at any time? I have a similar setup on a tankstick hooked to a Pi and if I have both hooked on, the spinner tends to cancel out the trackball making it inoperable. Would love to figure a way to correct that if it is possible.

@tuntav My Spinner and trackball have a dedicated controller each (with corresponding separate USB connector). They, like yours, don't work together as, I believe, they are both seen as a "mouse" control and don't think mame can manage multiple mice.
-
Thanx @UDb23. I was afraid of that but got some hope when I ran across your post. TY again for the reply.
-
@tuntav It still may be possible that some script exists to select which one should override the other. I'll post if I find more info.
-
@UDb23 Appreciate that.

@tuntav This may be information you already know, but both mine are detect as mice and the spinner overrides the mouse. The only way I get around is to find out what device number each mouse is (spinner is detected as mouse) and then start game, go into retroarch and set the mouse input to the number assigned to what mouse I want to use and then save the game settings (not the core settings).
For example, my spinner is device 0 and mouse is device 2. For a game like Centipede, I just go into Retroarch, set Mouse Input from 0 to 2 and save the game config so only affects that game.
Have done the same for AdvanceMame, but that does not use Retroarch but a config file.
Again, you may already know this, so I am sorry if I am repeating information you already know.
