Hello, I followed the instructions to get my ps4 controller bluetooth set up with the DS4DRV.

Everything was going great but at more or less the last hurdle i get this screen on reboot and have no idea what to do as i cant exit out of it and if i leave it, it just updates me on how poor my signal is.

      can anyone help please?

You don't need ds4drv to pair your controller, just pair it as a normal Bluetooth controller and forget about ds4drv.

@mitu Hello, Yeh I tried that but it didnt work.

However, I cant even get retro pie to load back now as its locked on this screen and wont let me boot up.

@tim281080 You'll need a keyboard to be able to start Emulationstation and run the RetroPie-Setup to pair your controller. If you don't have one, then enable SSH and connect to your PI remotely from a PC - you can then run the setup from the command line.

Yeh Ive got a keyboard, but no commands work on this screen that i get too.

Basically, i power up. 10 seconds later this screen appears and then just sits there. I can type but nothing works.

Is there a command i can use from this screen to get back to emulation station?

@tim281080 I advise you to re-flash your card and start anew, then follow the normal Bluetooth pairing method, without installing any additional drivers. If you still have problems, report them here.

probably incorrectly edited /etc/rc.local - did you forget the & on the end ? could ssh in and remove the line you added perhaps.

                              Hello,

Quick update. I re-flashed and figured it out.

The problem was that i had the PS3 controller driver enabled and this was disconnecting the ps4 controller after it had synced up as they don't work together.

So i disabled the ps3 driver and then just blue-toothed the PS4 pad the normal way (without the DS4 driver) and it works perfectly.

                              Thanks for your help.
