I recently picked up this beauty at a thrift store:

      nec_crt3.jpg nec_crt2.jpg nec_crt.jpg

CIB, with the manual, plastic and styrofoam.
Id love to use one of my Pies with it, might even put it in my arcade cab.

But it only has a coax antenna input. No scart / RCA AV.
There are 100s of options, from 30 up to 1000s of dollars worth of adapters etc.
      I found this;

      eazy2hdmi.jpg

Does anyone know if it would work, with a little thinkering of the /boot/config.txt (Mode 8 240p etc)

In Advance, thank you very much.

@Dipkid you're probably better off not converting digital to analog or vice versa. You're very likely to introduce an unacceptable amount of input lag.

I would recommend something like this in conjunction with a composite cable to the 3.5mm jack on the pi.

@quicksilver thank you. I would need to get one that has a coax antenna cable, those seems harder to find. To many names and versions..

@Dipkid coaxial antenna cable? How does that differ from a standard coaxial cable?

The solution I posted you would use a 3.5mm/composite cable plugged in to the RF adapter I posted which then runs a standard coaxial to the tv.

@quicksilver sorry, I thought the red/yellow/white was out and not in. The picture didn't show the coax side. Also I struggle with the correct English terms for all these cables.. 👍 (So a 3.5 AV cable thru the adapter you linked to my old a*s TV seems like a good, low budget solution.)

@dipkid well I'm actually searching for a sh*tty picture. I want it to look how it looked back then.

Would you sell your hdmi to rf modulator if you don't use it any longer?

                      Thank you,

@crafunzio Sorry, I dont think i have a hdmi to rf modulator. Mines a rca / av to coax. I used the pi`s 3.5 jack with a AV cable into the modulator. But you'll find hdmi to coax RF modulators on ebay / aliexpress etc for ca 10 bucks.

(But i would def recommend paying a bit extra for a pi2scart or similar if you have a european / scart crt set.)
