      Version: 4.4.14
      Built From: Pre-made image
      Pi model: 3B

So I have had this raspberry pi running retropie for a couple of years now and it has been working perfectly for years, but recently I have bought a new router for my home internet which gives completely different IP addresses then what I am familiar with.

On the old router, the IP was something like 192.168.0.xxx
But one the new router the IP is 10.0.0.xx

the problem that I am having is that my non-raspberry pi computers are recognized by IP scanner programs but not any of my raspberry pi computers.

Some other problems I get are:
Some packages won't install or fails to install things needed for the package to work
SSH works but randomly stops working
      Can't connect to virtual gamepad
When trying to connect to the internet it just said that it couldn't connect to wifi so I had to use wifikeyfile.

@MortenHB the 3B model supports only 2.4Ghz Wifi networks, make sure you don't share a 5Ghz SSID on the router. Also, if the Wifi networks aren't separated/isolated through a firewall. Your problem seems purely related to the routersettings/restrictions.
