[Request] Touchscreen support in the next major version

Hey guys!
I have a Raspberry Pi 3b+ set up with RetroPie, and I also have the official 7 inch touchscreen. I would love to be able to use the touch part at least in EmulationStation, to control the menus. I hope the developers decide to add support in the next major version

I agree! Would be pretty nifty to actully have it being USED as a touchscreen! :)
