    I apologize if this topic was covered already, but I wasn't sure if this issue was the same as what another user was asking about.

    After the update to Retropie 4.5, several videos I had scraped prior using Skyscraper have no image, but play sound. I've also had Emulationstation totally freeze up when highlighting these game entries a few times. I regenerated a gamelist from the data I had scraped prior, but it ended up with the same results. Before I do something like purge all of the videos and download them again, does anyone have any tips to resolve this?

    Thanks!

      @njscorpio can you verify if you have omx player enabled? Should be one of the options if you press start.

        I have OMX Player Enabled off, because when it's on, none of my scraped videos play at all. Right now (with it on), it's maybe 1 in 10 of my Sega CD titles. Yet, this isn't an issue for any of my SNES titles. These were all done with Skyscraper, and I redid the Sega CD ones this morning (deleting the media folder in ROMS, clearing the cache, redownloading the media, generating a new list) and the same specific titles for Sega CD have no video, just sound. These were ones that I KNOW worked prior.

        Also, the videos I scraped for Neo Geo, which I believe was with DBScraper (?), which I did prior to discovering skyscraper, none of those videos work at all now.

        EDIT: I swear, before I wrote my last post I went and I verified my prior experience that enabling OXM Player gave me issues, and my videos didn't play.
        But, I tried again just now....and as you suggested, it fixed the broken videos! Those that had no video, just audio, from skyscraper are now fixed.

        The Neo Geo videos, they aren't playing at all now with OXM Player enabled, but I imagine if I just download the Skyscraper videos for those it should resolve it.

        Thanks!

          @njscorpio

          I am having the same issue as you, all was working fine prior updating to 4.5. However if I enable OMX player it makes no difference, in face it is worst as no videos play.

          This issue for me is only related to Mame preview videos. Everything else works fine.

          I might try downloading the mame videos again, but does anyone have any idea what the issue could be?
