I am planning a Tron/DoT cab and was wondering what people are using for their joystick and spinner set up? As well as the devices themselves is there any extra hardware that is needed to interface?

If there is space on the CP I also fancy adding a trackball for some Arkanoid action, so recommendations for that would be appreciated, as well as the feasibility of having two analogue devices set up at the same time.

    Raspberry Pi 400 - overclocked to 2.3GHz
    Theme - Comic book
    Emulators: All of them...
Roms: Pretty much all of them...
Favourite games: Circus Charlie, Gorf, Gauntlet Legends
    Controllers: Mayflash F101

Seems like there are replacement parts readily available to make a custom CP. I know you can find some stuff online as far as quality spinners and "Tron" joysticks. It all comes down to how much you'd like to spend.

@chubsta Sorry, I guess I didn't answer your question. I use an X-Arcade Tankstick which has two sticks and a trackball. I dig it. 58d6933b-1c2b-4dd7-9638-6156d2a54bdb-image.png

I replaced some of the concave black buttons with convex LED buttons in a NEO-GEO cabinet layout.

I'm also building a Tron/DOT, but I'm reproducing a Mad Planets cab which also has those controls. You gotta bite the bullet and get Groovy Game Gear's Turbo Twist https://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=86&products_id=311 It comes with an interface board. Its the only push/pull solution out there. I have a spinner, and I was going to mod it to push-pull, but tick-tock.

Then you have to bite an even bigger bullet and get this: https://na.suzohapp.com/products/accessories/50-9975-02 you can use any ol encoder for that.

I have all the parts, I just need to assemble it. Haven't had time. I should put the control panel together first then I could share it with you.

            cheers
