      @CaptainMalware What version of Retropie are you using? I thought I read something a while back about a similar issue and updating from source seemed to fix it but don't know if that was a coincidence or not.

        @Dwarfboysim No. My pi is not overclocked, and the only heat sink is a nickel taped to the CPU.

          @KN4THX I'm not sure, but I downloaded retropie about two days ago. So I'm thinking it's the newest version.

              Try that maybe it will help
              go in the game to your retrorach (for me its the ps+triangle)
              Options
              Max texture cache size - change it to 8000.
              think it helps maybe ?

                @shavecat Are you talking about the playstation controller? The controller I'm using is a WII U Pro Controller.

                    So I found out that changing the VRAM size from 300MB to 16MB delayed the crash by 30 min. But it moved the crash to the snes and Gameboy.

                        update retropie setup script, and then i would update mupen64-plus from source (takes about 30 mins)
