Problems with lr-fuse on the latest version of retro-pie
-
I have an old version of retro-pie where all is fine with lr-fuse, but for the latest version I have a number of weird problems:
- The select button does not bring up the on-screen keyboard. Where is this even configured, and what should that config look like?
- select + start to quit emulator does not work (Fine for other emulators)
- My USB keyboard does not act as a zx spectrum keyboard. (Fine for other emulators)
- No key combo is bringing up the quick menu where according to a post I've read, I should be able to do a little re-configuring to get keyboard working as a zx spectrum keyboard.
The set-up being used is a raspberry pi 3 model B (original and updated version both exhibit above issues) and a wireless xbox 360 controller.
I would consider just using the old version, but of course this is not possible for the updated pi 3 model, which is the model I'd like to be using.

It may be relevant that, while loading a zx spectrum game (other emulators are okay), a message pops up in the bottom left saying "100% xbox 360 controller not set-up " or very similar words. It may explain a lot of my issues, perhaps, although I don't know why it would say that for this emulator alone.
Another oddity is that it seems many of the keyboard buttons are set to do odd things like fast-forward the emulator, so when user 3 is set to Sinclair keyboard a whole load of games are unavailable for normal zx spectrum keyboard use.

It could be that your have a custom RetroArch configuration for that particular Libretro core. Try renaming the
/opt/retropie/configs/zxspectrum/retroarch.cfg
file and then re-installlr-fuse
to generate the default configuration.
