I have a number of PS1 games that have multi-disks. To try to not see so many in the menu, I followed the directions in the wiki here. I converted them all to .chd format then created a notepad document with a .m3u extension. When I load them into retropie it sees both the M3U file and the disks. So, for example, I have FF7 which has 3 disks. So my menu shows 4 FF7 games. If I select the m3u file it boots the game just like if I select disk 1. I have a few games that don't seem to work at all, neither the m3u file nor the disk work. Everything is in the root directory. How can I get it so just the M3U file shows, not all the disks?

@bc320 Did you rename the extensions?

Replace the .chd extension for each disc of the game with an appropriate .CD1, .CD2, etc so that EmulationStation won't list the individual discs.

          Yes I did.
          Each M3U file has
          Game Name.CD1
          Game Name.CD2

          Etc

The game files themselves are still .CHD

@bc320 The game files should be renamed too.

@bc320 Yes, just as the wiki shows. If you don't rename the files themselves, how could the .m3u be correct ?

                  Ok.
I read it to mean change the file name in just the m3u file.
