      @Biquet hi...
I cant reproduce your problem, but you can try this:

I don't think a 3b+ is powerful enough to drive a 4k display - but 1080p should be easily handled without slowdowns by a Pi 3B+.
Can you get a detailed log from running the game by enabling verbose logging from the Runcommand launch menu and then uploading the log file (/dev/shm/runcommand.log) to pastebin.com ?

@mitu Sorry for the late answer.

No runcommand.log gets created when I launch with verbose (which your link doesn't explain btw). Looked in \retropie\configs\all\emulationstation\tmp because can't find the /dev folder your talking about.

Thanks for taking the time to help btw.

You need SSH access to the system to get the /dev/shm/runcommand.log file, because it's not available through file shares.
As for enabling Verbose mode, it's right there in the Runcommand launch menu - you can't miss it.

@mitu Om I found the verbose launching option. The SSH part is the problem. I'll update whenever I can (probably weekend).

                    Thank you

                      It's been a while.

I've added the ssh folder in the boot folder of the microSD (could only access that folder?), as explained. I've run the game with verbose logging. Can't seem to find that /dev/ folder anywhere.

                      I'm sorry.

@Biquet Did you install WinSCP and logged in via SSH on the PI ? The folder is accessible only if you login that way.

                          Oh, no I didn't.

                          Will try the next time.

                          Thanks for sticking with me.

Another question: Once I've done that. Where would I be able to access said folder?

                              Ok found it.

                              https://pastebin.com/8PQnc8XU

This is the log of Asterix. I have problems with Sonic too. Do I need to upload a log for that one too?

Alex Kidd in Miracle World, the Lion King, Daffy Duck in Hollywood all run fine.

[INFO] Threaded video stats: Frames pushed: 10061, Frames dropped: 1.

that implies full speed to me. are you sure this isn't accurate emulation? a lot of games had slowdown on real hardware. you could use youtube to verify.
