      Hi! How can I save the correct screen orientation for the portrait (aka vertical) wonderswan and wonderswan color games?
      I can rotate the screen by pressing select, but I'm not having luck on saving that.
      I would love to not have to press select evey time I launch a portrait game

        @Chuck_B Try to save a core override from the RetroArch's menu.

            @Chuck_B what setting are you changing, exactly, and it's not saved by the override ?

              @mitu i changed no settings at all. The core allows you to rotate the screen pressing SELECT, apparently without effect on retroarch settings.

                Then it could be one of the core options, in this case you can try saving a game option file from the Options menu in the RGUI.

                  I just tried creating a game option file. Nothing changed.

                    @Chuck_B In this case, create a <romname>.cfg file for the ROM with

                    video_allow_rotate = true
                    video_rotation = 2
                    config_save_on_exit = false

                    and place it next to the ROM file. The file should be loaded when the ROM is started and the rotation option applied.
                    The video_rotation is set in multiples of 90°, so 1 = 90°, 2= 180°, 3=270°.

                      @mitu the proper setting is video_rotation = 1, anyway now it appears rotated, I had to change the aspect ratio to fix it.
                      thank you very much
