So i bought the following m.2 adaptor board and installed a samsung evo 970 plus m.2

M.2 SSD Adaptor Board Image A

M.2 SSD Adaptor Board Image B

I also have a b type / usb cable pluged the cable into the Pi4 turn on the pi 4 and every thing boots as normal but no activity from the m.2 not even showing up on the pi4 drive list.

What have i missed ? What Have i done wrong ?

@AmigaMoreThanCLi How is it formatted ? Have you mounted the drive?

What card model is this ? If you're connecting it to a PC, does it work ?

@AmigaMoreThanCLi If this is the StarTech.com USB to M.2 SATA Converter, it only supports SATA M.2 drives.

Samsung EVO 970 Plus is an NVMe drive. It will never work in this board. You need a SATA M.2 drive.
