      @Chuck_B can you share the full specs here please including OS version / retropie / etc as well as the exact name of the package/whdload you're using for that game please? I'll try to reproduce. Also have you to checked the doc from either Amiberry's wiki or Retropie's especially the section related to the "bios"?

        @nemo93 I'm using Retropie 4.5.1, Amiberry 3.0.11. How do I check the package/whdload?

        ps: I installed the bios just like explained in the bios section

          @Chuck_B the version is usually part of the filename. In my case AnotherWorld_v2.4_Fr_2377 hence version 2.4 which is the latest to date as confirmed here. There's also a readme inside the lha archive you could check. It might be nice to keep the version within the filename as in my example. Amiberry might rely on that to automatically configure the game (thanks to the whdload_db.xml). Try to rename your game file like mine and check if this helps.

            @nemo93 renaming the game to AnotherWorld_v2.4_Fr_2377 gives me an AmigaDos terminal which says "CD failed returncode 20".

            Anyway the exact name of my rom is AnotherWorld_v2.4_0425.lha

              @nemo93 thanks will try it. Another question if I may. Trying to click on the update XML button in the AMIBERRY GUI and keep getting told ERROR no internet connection.

              Thoughts?

                    @BuZz thanks. Are there steps to update the file manually?

                    Does the file get updated when you update amiberry from binary or source?

                      @Dwarfboysim You have a reply on the amiberry issue now - the file is updated when updating from binary but only from when the binary was built. Same with source - it will be the last version updated on their repo.

                      The one they linked is the latest I guess.

                        @Chuck_B I just tried with your version of the game (AnotherWorld_v2.4_0425) and it worked flawless. Also you said:

                        CD failed returncode 20

                        I just found this ticket on Amiberry's github. Can you try deleting any autoboot file to see if that fixes it please? FYI autoboot files are being stored at this location /opt/retropie/configs/amiga/amiberry/whdboot/save-data/Autoboots/<filename>.auto-startup. If this doesn't remediate I'm afraid I'll be out of option.

                        @Dwarfboysim Tintin is now working fine has the package has been updated to version 1.3a which fixes the issue with the data folder. If you haven't done so please update to the latest version the game and delete the autoboot file as explained above to be sure.

                          @nemo93 removing the AnotherWorld autoboot files the game starts but after the wheel screen I get a green screen

                          can you list the crc of the kickstart roms you put in bios folder?

                            @Chuck_B the same as listed here. Let me add Kickstart v3.0 r39.106 (1992)(Commodore)(A1200)[!].rom which got the following crc 6c9b07d2. FYI the game played fine with the built-in AROS kick.

                              @nemo93 said in [Amiga] Amiberry + WHDLoad = Holy Grail - Amiberry's official thread:

                              gfx_center_horizontal=smart
                              gfx_center_vertical=smart

                              Would these be the correct commands to place in the hostprefs.conf to turn on smart centring by default for ALL WHDLoad games and Amiberry configurations. I want to avoid having to tweak a custom UAE file for EVERY game as its happening to all of them

                                Read somewhere that kick 3.1.4(.1) was now supported in amiberry. I guess that it should be stored in BIOS folder as the other ones, but how should the file be named?

                                Here are some info regarding older kickstart files.

                                https://github.com/midwan/amiberry/wiki/Kickstart-ROMs-(BIOS)

                                Is it possible to have the above link updated with 3.1.4 and supported systems?

                                  Hi all,
                                  Is there a trick to get SkidMarks to load? I keep coming up with a screen like it expects to find a modem and wants to dial somewhere. There is a SkidMarks Go button at the bottom of the screen but it does nothing?

                                  Thanks,
                                  Dwarfboysim

                                    Hi, I've updated Amiberry from source, now it's version 3.1.0.

                                    It seems pressing F12 no longer brings up the Amiberry emulator menu. And F10 quits the game to an AmigaDOS window, but maybe it always did that I don't know.

                                    How do we get into the emulator menu now? Thanks!

                                      Of course I figure it out right after posting...in my case using a DS4, it's now Playstation button + Triangle.

                                      All good!

                                        I just noticed that there are some really interesting Amiga CD games but I'm not sure they are supported. or at least how the get them to run. As it seems Amiberry is capable of running HDF files, but they are not a supported file format in RetroPie, the other way around is to use a LHA version of the Amiga CD game, but that just ends up in a black screen.

                                        Has anyone been able to get Amiga CD games running with Amiberry?

                                          I'm trying to get Amiberry installed on my picade running Retropie and have run into an issue with the 'Using Amiberry WHDBooter with RetroPie (Step 2)' section.

                                          At the bottom of the page it states that my Paths catagory should match the one in the photo. However my paths seem completely different, for instance my System ROMs says:
                                          /opt/retropie/emulators/amiberry/kickstarts/
                                          and my RetroArch configuration file says:
                                          /opt/retropie/emulators/amiberry/conf/retroarch.cfg

                                          However, the actual location of the RetroArch configuration file on my system is:
                                          /Home/RetroPie/configs/amiga/amiberry/conf/retroarch.cfg

                                          I haven't even added the Kickstart ROMs as I'm unsure where to place them now. Does anyone know I should do to resolve this? Have I installed Amiberry incorrectly? Should I point the paths to different locations in Amiberry's Paths section?

                                          Any help greatly appreciated.

                                            @Stuffu do you have any names in mind? You're talking titles like OnEscapee or Wasted Dreams maybe? Or instead CD32? The latter does support lha version of the games yet you might lose the redbook (cd-da) audio tracks. I need to do further testing with the former as clearly there are true gems that must be made available to a wide audience.

                                            @gizmo90 you must copy the various Kickstarts under /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/ as stated in the doc those might be copyrighted. You'll have to find these by yourself. Once done and copied over the Retropie BIOS directory, Amiberry will create all necessary symlinks. If issue persists please ensure to point Amiberry System ROMS to /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/ from the emulator GUI. Then check symlinks have been created by looking in the /opt/retropie/configs/amiga/amiberry/whdboot/save-data/Kickstarts/ where you'll see files with *.RTB as extension.
