    Good Afternoon Gamers,

I know scraping was down. I was curious if it was still down. I have two systems that I would like to scrape. I used Skraper for my other systems but it doesn't work for Mame-Libetro (2038 games) or PS1 (115 games). I tried using skyscraper last night and I was getting the api error. Skraper works beautifully except Mame-Libertro doesn't show up and PS1 scrapes all files including bin and cue files which ends up duplicating games.

You can copy the arcade ROMs is a mame subfolder and you can scrape them like that, if the folder name is a problem. You can also customize the name of the folder for the system.

.. and PS1 scrapes all files including bin and cue files which ends up duplicating games.

You can specify the extensions for files to be scraped in the system's settings.

@SireGo for MAME you will have to change the folder name in the MAME settings in the Skraper program. Default is rom/arcade, you will have to change to rom/MAME-libretro or whatever the folder is called.
As mentioned by mitu, PSX extentions can also be changed in the Skraper settings, just remove bin in the PSX settings menu and it should work fine.

@mitu Thanks for your help. It seems to be working in Skraper but it will not recognize the PBP files. Is there a way to either change the file type or force Skraper to recognize the PBP files? I did try adding the file type within Skraper.

That should have done the trick, can you provide a screenshot of where you're doing this in Skraper?

It's in the Games & Front End tab, you can change the folder where the ROM files are searched and also the file extensions.
