PS3 controller not exiting games
-
Just started with my new Pi3, everything up and running with a few fbs, master system and genesis roms.
Problem is faced once I try to exit a running game as I'm unable to exit the game pressing start+select on the sixaxis.
Been searching this forum and others without luck and tried to update all the packages, and setup script. Tried wiring and unwiring the controller. Removing the joystick configs and so on...
Nothing is working for that matter except for using the keyboard mapped keys. Any other ideas?
Thanks in advance,

Did you unplug the keyboard ?

Also tried and no luck. Forgot to say that it's an original dualshock and start and select are working separately (insert coint - start).

Can you check the RetroArch config file for the hotkey binds?
Easy way to do this would be to go to Retroach under the RetroPie menu, then go to settings, input, hotkey binds. See what is set under enable Hotkey (should be select), and exit (should be start).

You're the man! Thank you! All retroarch inputs were mapped to keyboard keys instead joystick buttons.
Is there a place I can check all the correct bindings for a sixaxis so I can set them?
-
Well, I assume you could bind them to whatever you want, but the defaults should be listed here (as well as some more info):
