@Rookervik Thank you, that worked. Is it possible to request the below theme to be added to the wish list? On a smaller screen, the larger game image would be a nice option over having the names of the next few games in the menu. Also like the black background.

@gamer85 Baaaaaaaahhh, I guess if you promise to test it for me and let me know if anything is wrong, I'll work on making that theme. I'm getting a little over-run with themes tho. Not sure I could ever keep them all updated. LOL. (in the end, a dark one like this is what I would use on a small screen... over the lighter one.)

@Rookervik Appreciate that. Happy to test and provide feedback. With more people converting Gameboys and building Pi GRRLs, as well as other 3-D printed cases that use a 3.5 inch screen, I believe there will be more and more need for themes tailored for these smaller screens. The above black screen theme seems optimal because it maximizes the scrapped game image.

It's a shame that the gamelist can't go over the box art image like the logo does. In this configuration, the Genesis logo stays on top of the screenshot, and the screenshot always stops with enough room to view the game's text.

@Rookervik Wow, that is simply amazing. Will use it for a week and provide feedback. Main menu hardware icons are really fantastic. Individual game selection highly readable. Will post pictures next week. This theme should definitely be added to future builds. You win a gold medal for this theme. Anyone using a small screen must use this.

@gamer85 Haha, 30 minute tweak. Glad it works for you. I think the retropie icons are pretty way much hyper too big. But they are going to be changing, soon. Mister "Im a professional artist" doesn't like my blender icons, so we'll change them to a more metro style. (Buzz wants Android status bar-style icons anyway lol) And I just mass-copied the theme.xml to every system, so the retropie menu got overwritten by the normal game one. >_< I did that last time, too.

@Rookervik Wanted to report back with feedback after using Pixel for TFT Displays 0.1. Its really perfect for using a small screen. You can read the titles and really see scan art. I will post some pictures below. One item, its missing art work for emulator sdltrs ie TRS-80 computer. Will this be something you can add?

@gamer85 Yeah I never made trs80 since it is extremely close to the Coco (I think anyway.) Herb made me make trs80 for Carbon, so I will need to do it for Pixel. Soooo, give me a little time and I'll update it.

@gamer85 Yeah everywhere I look I see pictures of the TRS80... Color Computer. Which is CoCo. I can't find any decent pictures of the TRS80 Model 1. I'm wondering if we can't just call this an upgrade like we do with C64/128 and all the different Amigas. I'd hate to think of doing DOS and drawing all the different generations of DOS-wielding computers.

@Rookervik the problem is that the TRS-80 Model 1 and TRS-80 Model 3 (the update to the Model 1, there was no Model 2) are completely different architecture and OS than the CoCo. Can you use the TRS-80 Model 3 as basis for the icon instead of the Model 1? If you search TRS-80 Model 3, do you find enough images to build the icon? If not I can post many images of the TRS-80 Model 3 here in this thread.

Model 3 looks like the keyboard is attached to the screen and diskette drives... is that the correct one to use? I found a lot of pictures of that.

@Rookervik the sdltrs emulator emulates the model 1-4p so any will technically work ;) I like the look of the model 1 but you're the one doing the art so if the available resources are better for you with the model 3 then do whatever works best for you :)

                                Your skills are appreciated :D

Pixel TFT 0.2 Now with more TRS-80 ACTION!

Updated Pixel with TRS-80, so I also added TRS-80 to the TFT version.
-Sorry for the Genesis games, I don't have TRS-80 so I just tested with Genesis. Bad screenshot, too. Looks better in ES.

@Rookervik Thank you for the update. Looks awesome, but if you want feedback, I have just one suggestion. The TRS-80 Model I and TRS-80 Model III did not display color. Your header theme looks great, but the three color bars (red, green & blue) that you are using in pixel-tft_0.2 were part of the CoCo logo not TRS-80 Model I and Model III. One suggestion would be to remove the 3 color bars and make the TRS-80 text bigger to match the same font as Radio Shack. I have included a picture of the TRS-80 Model I power supply to get an idea of what the original text looked like. Also I have included two game images to give you an idea what the actual graphics looked like. The last image is the CoCo (Color Computer) where you can see the logo in the upper right corner. Again, those color bars were not part of the Model I and Model III.
